      auth.archanical.com is an authentication/login service. In order to process your login, we necessarily collect the following data:

      • Username - A unique identifier for your account. This may be your e-mail address.

      • Contact Methods - E-Mail and/or Phone # - So that we can contact you about your account, and/or validate your login attempt.

      • Third party account information / tokens (eg. Google) to allow you to log in using a third party account

      • Login Timestamps & IP Addresses for records and to attempt to identify malicious access to your account

      • Browser / Operating System for managing sessions.

      • Name - How you’d like to be addressed

      • Profile Image - You may have the option to upload a profile image

      • Legal Name - If required for contracts, billing, etc, Your legal name may need to be attached to your account.

      • Shipping / Billing Address - As with legal name, if we need to ship or bill you, we may require these addresses to be attached to your account.

      • Account Activity - we may log account activity for security and transparency. Examples may include timestamps for events like logins, password changes, etc.

   2. Cookies

      You may have heard of cookies elsewhere! In order to log in and remain logged in, we store a cookie on Your device that acts as a login.

   3. Analytics

      At this time, we use Matomo On-Premises to measure key figures that are important to us, such as the number of visitors and page views, popularity of browsers, form factors (eg. desktop vs mobile), and more. We use this information to improve our site.

      Analytics help us to understand how people view our site - like how people find us, what pages they visit, in what order, etc.

      We have configured Matomo so that this measurement is carried out anonymously. We don’t use tracking cookies, and we anonymize IP addresses as noted below.

      Heres’s what we collect with Analyticsa

      • The first two bytes of your IP Address (ie. ‘192.168’ from ‘192.168.0.0’). - Page visited - Time & date of the visit

      • Web Browser used and version

      • OS used and version

      • The referrer domain, if your browser specifies one

      • Any outgoing links you click on.

      Opting out of Analytics

      There are several ways you can opt out of our analytics.

      • We respect the GPC or “Global Privacy Control” setting in your browser, and the older “Do Not Track”. To enable these in your browser:

          (Google Chrome does not support GPC at time of writing, but you may be able to install an extension to provide that functionality.)

      • If you use Firefox or another browser that respects your privacy, analytics will likely be blocked automatically.

      • If you use a request or script blocking extension like uBlock Origin, you can block the domain “analytics.archanical.com”

2. How long we retain your data

   If you set up an account through auth.archanical.com, we may retain records of it for as long as the account continues to be used, plus up to 10 years.

   We retain anonymized analytics data indefinitely.
