Automated Text Messages

• “Message” or “text message” will refer to SMS/MMS messages.
• “You” will refer to an Archanical client who may wish to send/receive text messages.
• “Archanical” or “we” refers to Archanical Creative Ltd.

This document outlines Archanical’s automated text message processes.

Archanical provides automated text message notifications for some of our services. Such services may include and are not limited to:

• Meeting Reminders & Meeting Confirmations
• Shipping Updates for printing/products we coordinate
• Multi-Factor (MFA or 2FA) authentication for login to client accounts

We are required to get your consent to send you text messages. Consent to receive messages is generally situational, so you may need to consent separately for eg. meeting reminders and/or shipping reminders.

Here’s how that process will look:

1. Verbal

   1. As Archanical is a small business, the first step will often be collecting your consent verbally, either in person or over the phone.

   2. When we have collected consent verbally, we will reach out with a text message to confirm your consent for our records. This might look like:

      “Archanical: To receive text notifications for tracking order 999-9999, please reply YES, or STOP to stop.”

      Without a record of consent (eg. a YES reply), we may not be able to send you messages.

2. Electronic

   For some services, like with meeting reminders or shipping updates, you may be able to consent to messages via a web form.

The collection/handling of your phone number for Archanical to send you text messages is governed by the privacy policy of the service being used.

Additionally, we provide SMS messages via third party services like Twilio, and Google Voice. Please don’t send confidential information via text message.
