socks.archanical.com is a social media scheduling web application, allowing Users to centrally manage social media accounts, scheduling posts, advertisements, and monitor analytics.

socks.archanical.com is based on Postiz.com, an open-source social media scheduling web application.

We believe in User privacy! This document clarifies our use of Viewer/User data.

1. What personal data we collect and why

   1. Viewers

      At this time, we use Matomo On-Premises to measure key figures that are important to us, such as the number of visitors and page views, popularity of browsers, form factors (eg. desktop vs mobile), and more. We use this information to improve our site.

      Analytics help us to understand how people view our site - like how people find us, what pages they visit, in what order, etc.

      We have configured Matomo so that this measurement is carried out anonymously. We don’t use tracking cookies, and we anonymize IP addresses as noted below.

      Heres’s what we collect with Analyticsa

      • The first two bytes of your IP Address (ie. ‘192.168’ from ‘192.168.0.0’). - Page visited - Time & date of the visit

      • Web Browser used and version

      • OS used and version

      • The referrer domain, if your browser specifies one

      • Any outgoing links you click on.

      Opting out of Analytics

      There are several ways you can opt out of our analytics.

      • We respect the GPC or “Global Privacy Control” setting in your browser, and the older “Do Not Track”. To enable these in your browser:

        • How to enable “Do Not Track” in Chrome

          (Google Chrome does not support GPC at time of writing, but you may be able to install an extension to provide that functionality.)

      • If you use Firefox or another browser that respects your privacy, analytics will likely be blocked automatically.

      • If you use a request or script blocking extension like uBlock Origin, you can block the domain “analytics.archanical.com”

   2. Users

      socks.archanical.com is a social media scheduler.

      We collect User data including the following for the purposes of providing and improving the service.

      We collect User account data, necessary to help Users maintain and log into accounts. This may include:

      • Username
      • E-Mail
      • Password
      • Phone Number

      We collect social media authorizations when Users link social media accounts to the socks.archanical.com service, in order to allow Users to use our services with those third parties. We use this only to provide Users service.

      We also necessarily collect any content Users enter through our site in the process of using the service - for example, images and text to be posted. We use this only to provide Users service.

      We collect data about social media accounts Users connect to socks.archanical.com for the purposes of displaying that information to the User. For example, number of followers, comments, messages, profile images, and more.

      We use cookies in order to allow Users to remain logged into the site, and to collect usage data.

2. How long we retain your data

   1. Viewers

      We retain anonymized analytics data indefinitely.

   2. Users

      We retain User submitted data for the extent of your using the service, plus 6 months of backups. We may need to retain data for longer for legal purposes.

      We do not retain User data collected from third party social media connections.

      We cannot control how long third party social medias will retain data Users post via socks.archanical.com.

      We receive non identifiable analytics data from Search Consoles like Google Search Console & Bing Webmaster Tools.

      We receive data about Users from third party social media platforms connected to their socks.archanical.com accounts.
